Advanced Hearing offers quick, low cost hearing aid repairs on almost any hearing aid. If you think your hearing aid may need repair, even if you didn’t buy it from us, we’ll be happy to check and repair it if needed. The hearing aid check is free, and many repairs can be done on-site quickly.
A thorough cleaning of your hearing aids to remove wax and debris from the microphone and receiver ports can be done in a matter of minutes with our specialized equipment.
Sometimes we can make the repair while you wait. Often the repair will take just a few days.
Many minor hearing aid problems can also be taken care of in office while you wait. A computerized analyzer can check the function and performance of the hearing aid’s circuitry to determine if it needs manufacturer repair. Typically, hearing aids up to 10 years of age can be repaired by the manufacturer and provided either a 6 to 12 month warranty – repair cost estimates can also be provided.
We’re capable of working with many types of hearing aids from most major manufacturers, so if you need service on a hearing instrument, chances are we can help you. If we can’t repair your particular instrument, we’ll send it to a lab that can do the repairs. We don’t charge you an additional shipping fee for those repairs we must send out of our facility, just the cost of the repair itself.
Hearing Aid Loaner Option
Because we can’t always repair your hearing aid while you wait, we have behind-the-ear (BTE) and Receiver In The Canal (RIC) style hearing aid loaners available at no cost (limited quantities on hand). Although nothing can replace your hearing aid, a loaner will keep you hearing well, while we’re making those repairs. If you live out-of-town, you can send us your hearing aid for testing and repair. We’ll return it to you promptly. Just be sure to enclose a note with your name, address, and daytime telephone number, along with a description of the issue.
